That is also a good likeness I missed the interview this past weekend, I guess I am one of the many "bad" Americans that cares more about football than politics (this time of year anyway ). How about those exciting games this weekend!!!Back to the important matter at hand... I am just concerned when I do see the "front runners" from the perspective of the media and Paul isn't mentioned. I hope he continues to get time. He is such a breath of fresh air when compared to the rest of those running. I just feel like the rest of the candidates are all very similar. It is really easy to mix them up in fact. The only defining moments/ characteristics of many of these "front runners" is always a negative one. None of them are standing out as a clear "good choice" to me. Ron Paul still remains my favorite at this point, even if he is a little Magoo-ish I hope he gets a fair chance. (If not, then its the anti-Hillary solution for me! As much as it would be an interesting soap opera to watch in the White House, it would be devastating for this country and the world.)

I dunno... I'm thinking Hillary = impeachment. Then we'd only have to deal with about 2 years of lousy leadership ... and the potential downfall of a party (which is all I'm really hoping for).

www.abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/story?id=3965657&page=1And so the media begins already for the Ron Paul Blimp scheduled for take off December 10th. Hillary won't get impeached. The way things are going right now, democrats will most likely win the house and the senate this term again. That ensures her at least two years without impeachment, and even if Republicans would gain enough back for the next two years to retake a majority, they wouldn't be able to impeach her because they would need a 2/3rds majority to do so. Then you get to the point where you are now, and it gets close to election time and people say whats the point. Hence part of the reason I'm lobbying so hard for Ron Paul. There's no way on earth that our country will elect a pro-war or seemingly pro war candidate this time around. 70% of people in our country or somewhere near there are now opposed to the war in Iraq. (That doesn't say anything about their choice in exit strategy by the way.) Ron Paul's strict adherence to the constitution especially over the war issue is the key thing that will beat Hillary. She will undoubtedly change her position to say that she too is against the Iraq war, but many democrats already are saying that they would consider Ron Paul over Hillary. Something you do not hear whatsoever about any of the other republican candidates.

Oh, did you hear about the interrogation tapes yet?

anyone try that quiz for presidential candidates on the front page? My results were Huckabee at the top, Ron Paul in the middle, and the Democrats at the bottom.

I'm not sure it is the same one but I took it. My results were McCain and Romney tied, then Huckabee, then Ron Paul, and of of course the democrats at the bottom.

Yeah mine came out different then I would have thought... Huckabee McCain and Romney Paul then much lower... Hillary Obama I would have guessed that Ron Paul would have been higher on the list, but then again, the survey did not cover all of the issues. I think some of the points where I agree with Ron Paul were not reflected in the survey. It is a very useful tool though for understanding the different stances on certain issues. It also clearly points out some of the differences between parties. You should check it out if you haven't yet: www2.wqad.com/av2008/selectacandidate/quiz.php

www.politickerme.com/wallyedgeme/1437/republican-convention-drama-worksHa ha, I thought this was funny. Seeing as how this delegate is from your home state of Maine PS, I thought you might be interested. I also found the results of the Nevada convention shake up this past week to be interesting as well, if you hadn't heard about it. www.rgj.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080427/NEWS/804270360/1321?1243567I'm surprised only slightly though that the national news hasn't had any interest in carrying these stories on a widespread basis. McCain is simply a media creation designed to fail against the democrat nominee. If these events continue throughout the rest of the state conventions however, the Republican party will be well on its way back towards its roots.
