I'd think it be cool if there'd be a place on here where people can place any verses or songs that they've found to beneficial to them. My reasoning is that if someone had a problem that might mean that others have the same problem and if there's an awnser out there for them it seems that would be something great to give them. (if this has already been done please forgive me, i couldn't find it)

Title: Stained Glass Masquerade Is there anyone that fails Is there anyone that falls Am I the only one in church today feelin' so small Cause when I take a look around Everybody seems so strong I know they'll soon discover That I don't belong So I tuck it all away, like everything's okay If I make them all believe it, maybe I'll believe it too So with a painted grin, I play the part again So everyone will see me the way that I see them Are we happy plastic people Under shiny plastic steeples With walls around our weakness And smiles to hide our pain But if the invitation's open To every heart that has been broken Maybe then we close the curtain On our stained glass masquerade Is there anyone who's been there Are there any hands to raise Am I the only one who's traded In the altar for a stage The performance is convincing And we know every line by heart Only when no one is watching Can we really fall apart But would it set me free If I dared to let you see The truth behind the person That you imagine me to be Would your arms be open Or would you walk away Would the love of Jesus Be enough to make you stay I'd though this song was cool cause it portrays what alot of people go through in all aspect of church life. here's a link to here it search.playlist.com/tracks/stained%2520glass%2520masquerade

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
i think it explains itself very well ;D

That song was neat, it had so much truth in it. This song is Red Letters by dc Talk Pages filled with a holy message Sealed with a kiss from heaven On a scroll long ago Phrases, words that were bound together Now have the power to sever Like a sword evermore Heed the words divinely spoken May your restless heart be broken Let the supernatural take hold CHORUS: There is love in the red letters There is truth in the red letters There is hope for the hopeless Peace and forgiveness There is life in the red letters In the red letters One man came to reveal a mystery Changing the course of history Made the claim he was God Ageless, born of a virgin Mary Spoke with a voice that carried through the years It's persevered Heed the words divinely spoken May your restless heart be broken Let the supernatural take hold What You say moves me, revelation, come and take me The more I look [the more I look] the more I see [the more I see] The Word of God [the Word Of God] is what I need Oh yeah, oh yeah Yeah, it's the book of love Yeah, yeah, yeah It's the book of love Speak to me, breathe in me new life [x2] Let Him in your heart [x4] This song reminds me of the importance of God's Word. Joshua 1:8-9 8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
These verses have really encouraged me to memorize the Bible and also that God will direct my life!

ok so these two songs are really cool and Pastor Dan tends to play them when we are doing serious things, like "you and God time" and the "crossing the line" night thingy, but anyway they are really cool and have awesome meanings if you put thought into it.
Jeremy Riddle - Sweetly Broken From the album Sweetly Broken
To the cross I look, to the cross I cling Of its suffering I do drink Of its work I do sing
For on it my Savior both bruised and crushed Showed that God is love And God is just
Chorus: At the cross You beckon me You draw me gently to my knees, and I am Lost for words, so lost in love, I’m sweetly broken, wholly surrendered
What a priceless gift, undeserved life Have I been given Through Christ crucified
You’ve called me out of death You’ve called me into life And I was under Your wrath Now through the cross I’m reconciled
Chorus:
In awe of the cross I must confess How wondrous Your redeeming love and How great is Your faithfulness
hold on I have to look up the other one I cant seem to find it... *sigh*

I really sympathize with "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been", "I So Hate Consequences", and "For the Moments I Feel Faint" by Relient K. A lot of times it's "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been and I Hate Part of Who I Am", "I So Can't Live Through Consequences", and "For the Lifetime I Feel Faint." Then there's "I Stand In Awe", "I'll Stand in Awe of You", "More Than Enough", and "All in All". Throw in "In Me" by Casting Crowns. That's a lot of lyrics to post, so feel free to search them.

Arms Around Me ~ Hawk Nelson When I hurt You, I never meant to hurt You I'm just trying to work through things in my life Emotions can be mean and I didn't really mean it I never stopped believing in your truth.
I'm not big on waiting, I could use some patience, This time I'm not afraid of losing.
Wrap Your arms around me I know, Trying hard not to let go, Every time I stand up, I fall without You, When You wrap Your arms around me I know, With me wherever I go, Nothing else matters at all when You're here.
You're always near me, even when it's ugly, Even when I'm screaming up to You, I'm thankful for Your mercy, You always seem to hear me, It's not always easy to push through.
I'm not big on waiting, I could use some patience, This time I'm not afraid of losing. Cause I'm not one to frown when, The sun is going down and, I'm happy to just wait for You.
Wrap Your arms around me I know, Trying hard not to let go, Every time I stand up, I fall without You. When You wrap Your arms around me I know, With me wherever I go, And nothing matters at all when You're here.
I promise I'll never doubt You, You know I'm lost without You, Please hold me in Your arms tonight.
Wrap Your arms around me I know, Trying hard not to let go, Every time I stand up, I fall without You. When You wrap Your arms around me I know, With me wherever I go, And nothing matters at all when You're here.
I really like this song... it has some truth in it. Because we do fall without God and well if you read the lyrics you could probably pick out a few more things, I could.

Seems like it's a stage for almost every teenager... You try so hard to please God, and then you become a turncoat and a traitor. You try again and again, and you fall again and again, even when you rededicate yourself again and again. You love Him but you still leave Him and you know it hurts Him, so it hurts you... but not half as much as you know it hurts your loving creator. But you always know he's working, and that one day it won't be like this. There's something Sam and Travis told me while we were talking, on a certain day I was pretty much hopeless with my situation (in case you don't know, my addiction has only improved, not been completely cut). They said: "I know that it must hurt God, but think of how much it must please him that you're trying. Think about all the other people in the world who don't care and don't try, and then imagine that it doesn't really please God that you're trying your best to live for him."
Let's not become weary in running the race, even when we trip again and again. It's just a phase until we become the track stars God's planning for us to be.

"I have done that which i could not have done. For that i proclaim that you God are great and awesome for what you use me for. I am proud to be your instrument and i pray that you will continue to use me!"
This is what i Yelled at the top of my lungs one night, praise God for what had just happened. I don't know why but God compelled me to tell this to all who will read not knowing what might happen because of it.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
